Using SuHagSAT

How does the adaptive section work?

A sitting is two 35-minute modules of 22 questions each, 70 minutes in total. Your performance on module 1 decides whether module 2 is the harder or the easier form. The between-modules screen deliberately tells you neither your module 1 score nor which form you were given — the real test doesn't either, and knowing would change how you play 22 questions that still count. Both facts are on the score report.

Can I skip around inside a module?

Yes, and you should. Move with the arrows, or tap any number in the navigator. Note the navigator is a flat grid rather than grouped by topic, and that is deliberate: a Math module runs roughly easiest to hardest with the domains interleaved, so there are no topic blocks to jump between. What the grid does mark is where the typed-answer questions start. Between modules there is no going back.

What are the questions where I type the answer?

About a quarter of the real Math section — eleven of the 44 — gives you a box instead of four choices, and they come last in each module. They are harder than they look: there is nothing to eliminate and no answers to work backwards from, and the box has rules of its own. No commas, no percent signs, no units, no mixed numbers, at most five characters, and a repeating decimal has to fill the whole box (2/3 is .6666 or 0.667, never 0.67). SuHagSAT enforces exactly those rules and tells you which one you broke, because being marked wrong for a comma teaches you nothing.

Is there a calculator?

Yes, on every question, along with the formula reference sheet — the real test gives you both, so practising without them would train the wrong habits. One honest limitation: it is a scientific calculator, not the graphing one Bluebook provides, so you cannot plot a function or find an intersection graphically. The reference sheet also lists the formulas that are not given to you, starting with the quadratic formula.

How do I cross out an answer I've ruled out?

Tap the ⊘ button next to a choice. The buttons are visible from the start; you don't need to turn anything on. If you'd rather have the exact Bluebook layout, the ABC toggle in the header hides them, and that preference is remembered.

How do I leave a section early?

Press and hold Exit for three seconds. It's a hold rather than a tap because a module can't be resumed once abandoned. Let go before the countdown finishes and nothing happens. Keyboard users can hold Enter or Space; with VoiceOver, use double-tap-and-hold.

Why does starting a section sometimes take longer?

Questions are usually served from a pre-generated bank and appear in a second or two. If the bank happens to be short on a particular skill, SuHagSAT writes the missing questions on the spot, and a progress bar shows how far along it is.

Scores

Why is my SuHagSAT score lower than my real practice test score?

Because it's meant to be. SuHagSAT's questions are written roughly one rung harder than the real section, so that test day feels easy rather than surprising — a SuHagSAT "easy" is about a real medium. The score estimate therefore runs low. Treat it as a floor, and pay more attention to the trend than to any single number.

How accurate is the score?

It's an estimate, and it's labelled as one everywhere it appears. The College Board publishes neither the raw-to-scaled conversion table nor the module-routing threshold, and the conversion varies between forms. SuHagSAT uses a defensible model of both, not the official table.

Why did my score cap out around 600?

That's the easier module 2. Routing down means module 1 was below the threshold, and the arithmetic then tops out near 600 — it isn't a cap that's been applied to you, it falls out of the weighting. The score report tells you which form you were routed to.

Questions and content

I think a question is wrong.

Please flag it. There's a flag control on every question in review, and it sends the whole question so the problem can be diagnosed without you having to describe it. Flagged questions get read, and genuinely broken ones get removed. This is the single most useful thing you can do for the app.

Are these real SAT questions?

No. They're generated to the section's published blueprint — same domains, same skill distribution, same stem wording, same proportion of typed answers. They are not retired exam questions and are not licensed from the College Board.

Is there a Reading and Writing section?

Not in this app, which is why it never shows a 400–1600 total. Its sibling KhaSAT is the Reading and Writing half, built the same way.

I worked a question out and I think the answer key is wrong. What do I do?

Report it — there is a flag button under every worked solution, and "I worked it out and the marked answer is wrong" is the first option. On a Math question that is a claim about arithmetic rather than an opinion, so you may well be right and we may well be wrong. Every question is solved a second time by an independent check before it reaches you, and that catches a great deal, but not everything. A report carries the whole question, so it can be checked without us needing anything else from you.

Account and billing

What does the free plan include?

One full timed section a week, two skill drills a day, the full working shown on every question you answer, and the complete score report — plus the calculator and the reference sheet throughout. The solutions and the report are not gated: they're the part that actually teaches.

How do I get Premium?

You can't yet. Pricing isn't settled and the payment flow isn't built. If you want early access in the meantime, email support@spaikz.com and your account can be switched over.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Profile → Delete account. It removes every student profile, attempt and answer, then deletes the sign-in. It's immediate and can't be undone, and you don't need to email anyone.

Sign-in isn't working.

Try the other provider first — the web app offers Google, and iOS offers both Google and Apple. If that fails too, email support@spaikz.com with the device and which button you pressed.
